The Alliance for Reason and Knowledge (ARK) is a 501c3 I started in 2011 to advance the notion of people helping people makes the world a better place. Beyond environmental issues we sought to provide a support network for those doing the good work regardless of the resources they have or the opposition they face. These are the people we want to assist in being the change they want to see in the world.
In 2021 we recognized how the world was changing and shifted to serve as a workforce development organization specializing in matching marginalized merchants with support and services that empower them and enrich the communities where they live. This social impact investment strategy is known as the Good Jobs for a Green World plan and you can read it here.
It is because of the current and former boards, the dedicated members (stewards) spread across the planet, and the numerous sponsors and donors that have helped keep the ship afloat in stormy weather that has allowed me to be here today. To numerous to thank individually, they know who they are and how grateful I am for sharing this journey.
They are my friends that have become my family and the foundation of this tribe of the carpe diem.
